Quality and Academic Accreditation Committee.
Tasks:
- Promote and disseminate a culture of Quality among all programs staff.
- Prepare and implement strategic and operational plans for Quality.
- Identify the training needs of the Program's staff regarding Quality and academic accreditation.
- Prepare the description of the courses and the Program by according to the National Center for Academic Accreditation and Evaluation models.
- Prepare course and program reports by per the National Center for Academic Accreditation and Evaluation models.
- Prepare the course files in the Program and work on updating them continuously.
- Fulfill the requirements for program accreditation issued by the National Center for Academic Accreditation and Evaluation.
- Provide performance indicators KPIs and reference comparisons for the Program according to the National Center for Academic Accreditation and Evaluation models.
- Prepare the measures of the Programs initial self assessment and provide evidence.
- Prepare reports to examine the Program's initial self evaluation by The Center for Academic Accreditation and Evaluation.
- Submit periodic models reports about the Quality and academic accreditation of the Vice Dean coordinator representative of the Deanship for Quality and academic accreditation.
- Do any other tasks within the scope of its projects.
Plans and Systems Committee in the Law Program
Tasks:
- Review and develop the programs study plans and specifications in reference to the nationally approved framework adopted by the university, and in accordance with the detailed mechanism outlined in Chapter Three of the Quality System Guide
- Supervise the preparation of course reports at the end of each academic semester, examine the extent to which course learning outcomes have been achieved, identify strengths and weaknesses, and review improvement proposals and suggested changes submitted by course instructors (if any), then submit them to the Department Council for appropriate recommendations
- Supervise the preparation of the annual academic program report, assess the achievement of program learning outcomes, identify strengths and weaknesses, and review proposed improvements and changes, then submit them to the Department Council for appropriate recommendations
- Review all proposals submitted to improve the quality of the academic program within the department and complete the necessary procedures in this regard.
- Provide opinions and consultation on all matters that contribute to improving the quality of academic programs within the department
- Conduct periodic review and evaluation of the program and study plans offered by the department.
- Perform any other duties assigned in this regard by the Dean of the College or the University Vice Presidency for Academic Affairs..
Mission and Goals Revision Committee
Tasks
- Review the Mission and Goals related to the Law Program and its consistency with the Mission and Goals of the Faculty and the University by the Program's Quality Manual.
- Prepare reports after the revision period, draft new Mission and Goals and submit them to the Department Head.
- Do any other tasks that can be assigned to the Committee.
The Scientific Committee for conducting personal interviews with applicants for the position of Assistant Professor or higher.
